Art can be described in many, many ways. It can be used to express one's feelings and emotions. Emotions can be portrayed on a canvas or a sheet of paper, singing or through dancing!
A great thing about art is that it is very diverse. Art comes in many forms. Personally, my favourite form of art is visual arts.
Originality was what caught my eye in this piece. I'm truly amazed at what astonishing works of art you may create with just simple items.

I believe that art is anything that can express one's feelings. Either in music, art, dance, writing, and so much more. Art is everywhere, and anything can be art. I feel art should have a story to it. It should not be some picture that doesn't describe anything and is just mere done to perfection. What is the point of a piece of work that has no meaning? Art is used to capture or show the artist's emotions and their life. Art is an communication tool. To turn the world inside out. Give people a new perspective and belief on things.
As for the pencil shaving portrait, many people believe that art should last for ever. They don't. Art is not to last forever, but to portray our culture. That is something the whole world needs. To think in a different way

Art can be appreciated differently; mainly for the beauty of it and the emotional power beyond just the state of the art itself.
The idea of art is incredible - people can view an artwork in thousands of approaches, but the true meaning of it is from the eyes of the artist.
This presentation of pencil shavings is absolutely a piece of artwork. Given with particular mediums, this artist created a fabulous & unique production, what I presume, of a face.
Thus, that is my justification of art, and I’m sure there are many others, since art is such a broad and thoughtful topic.

Art, to me, is a way to express yourself in a way that can't be described through words. Art can tell stories. Art can give people happiness, and sadness. It can also be confusing or simple. Art is seen differently through each persons eyes. Some things may seem like art to some people, but it may also seem like garbage to others. Art leaves all kinds of memories. When I approach an artwork, I try to give the artwork an unforgettable element to it. For example, when someone else sees my artwork, I want to give them something to think about and admire for a very long time. It seems incredible to me that using just the simplest of materials, we can create something extroardinary... which is art.

For example you can take some furniture and place it all in the middle of the room but as Kyle Bean used the color pencil shavings in a different way, you could also take the furniture and place them nicely and artistically to make the room now more appealing.
